Being passionate about sports does not mean an athlete should ever compromise their smile. Even when playing sports with a helmet, an athletes teeth are often exposed to injury. Being tackled in football, constant jumping in basketball, slamming into walls and other people during hockey, and any other type of high impact sport can cause teeth to click together, sometimes very violently. This can lead to chips, cracks, even tooth loss!
